Perstone Took Its Place at the Earthquake Symposium Organized by the Chamber of Civil Engineers

The February 2023 Earthquakes Symposium, which was held for the second time this year by the Chamber of Civil Engineers, was completed on February 14-15. MB Holding was among the sponsors of the symposium, and Inper Perlit brand Perstone supported the symposium on behalf of MB Holding and took its place at the symposium.

Following the earthquakes of February 6, 2023, which went down in history as the disaster of the century, the symposium evaluated earthquakes and their effects from every aspect from a civil engineering perspective, and evaluated the lessons to be learned from past earthquakes and future predictions. Valuable names such as Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin, Gaziantep Governor Kemal Çeber, Gaziantep Şehitkamil Municipality Mayor Av. Umut Yılmaz, as well as valuable professors, academics, civil engineers and companies took part in the event.

The symposium, the opening speech of which was made by the Chamber of Civil Engineers Gaziantep Branch President Mr. Burkay Güçyetmez, was followed by many valuable speakers and the symposium was successfully completed with the valuable information conveyed by the Chairman of the Board of Civil Engineers Mr. Nusret Suna and our valuable professors who are experts in each field.

At the final of the symposium, our Inper Perlit General Manager, Mr. Özcan KAYA, was among the names receiving a prize.
